Maciel (Maci) Mata joined Newton Kight, L.L.P. in January 2023 as an associate attorney. Her primary areas of practice are guardianship/conservatorship, estate planning, and probate.

Maci Mata attended the University of Washington where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019. She majored in Early Childhood and Family Studies and minored in Law, Societies, and Justice. After the completion of her undergraduate education, she attended Seattle University School of Law where she received her J.D. in 2022.
In early 2024, Maci joined the Court Visitor Registry and has enjoyed learning about the guardianship and conservatorship process from a different perspective.
Maci is a member of the South Everett Mukilteo Rotary Club and is on the Board of Directors for a local nonprofit, Sound Salmon Solutions. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
