Robin began her legal career when hired as a receptionist over 30 years ago at the Newton, Newton & Kight law firm, shortly after graduating from high school. Upon leaving Newton Kight, Robin worked for several years providing freelance legal support in various temporary positions focused primarily in real estate and corporate law. Robin took a break from the legal field when she moved to Camano Island to raise her family, during which time she was also involved in operating the family business, volunteer work, and earning a medical transcriptionist certification from Everett Community College.
Robin returned to the Newton Kight law firm in July 2013 where she provided paralegal support to Henry T. Newton until his retirement in December 2025. In addition to her paralegal duties, Robin took over billing administration and accounts receivable for Newton Kight in 2020. Since Mr. Newton’s retirement, Robin continues to provide paralegal support where needed and to manage the billing administration for all attorneys in the firm.
